Description
In this IMG activity, you assign the plants you require for Materials Management (e.g. pharmacy, central storage facility, kitchen) to your institution. Please only assign plants from the same company code to which the institution is also assigned.
Example
- Plant "PHAR" for hospital pharmacy
- Plant "CSTR" for the central storage facility
Requirements
Standard settings
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you use only one plant per institution for pharmaceuticals.
Several pharmacies can be managed as individual storage locations, if necessary. In this way, you avoid problems caused by managing the same products in several plants.
