Use

In this IMG activity you determine which processes the system is to provide on the user interface, depending on the respective process group. When controlling the process groups, the system displays on the user interface only those processes that are assigned to the respective process group and are valid.

In addition, you determine which processes are involved in the collision check. The system uses the collision check so that certain processes cannot be started or that a message appears if these processes are started. You can specify the necessary dependencies between the processes using the IMG activity Link Processes with Process Groups for Collision Check.

Requirements

You have used the IMG activity Define Process Groups to define the process groups you want to use to control the process selection.

Standard settings

Activities

  • Assign the processes to the process groups that are to contain them.
  • For each process, determine the period in which the process is valid.
  • Set the Process is displayed on user interface indicator for the processes that are to be displayed on the user interface.

    Note: The indicator is relevant for displaying the process in the Portal.

  • Set the Process is involved in collision check indicator for the processes whose dependency on other processes is to be checked by the collision check.
  • Save your entries.
