HRAS_T5ASRERRORAGENT
Use
In this IMG activity, you specify for the various error categories the person who - when an error occurs - is regarded as the agent (expert) and is to receive the work item in which the error occurred.
When processing a work item, the situation may arise where the current processor can no longer continue with the process because an error occurred that the processor cannot rectify. In this case, the work item can be forwarded to an expert who can correct the error and then processes the work item, returns it to the current processor, or withdraws the entire process if necessary. For each of the possible error categories, you specify how the system can find the relevant expert.
The system uses the following information (agent type) to find the relevant experts:
Role
Rule
Organizational Unit
Job
Position
Work Center

Select an error category.
Specify the agent type and the associated agent object. These determine the experts who are to process work items with errors for the relevant error category.
Specify a priority. Assign values between 1 and 99 where 1 represents the highest priority. If errors from different error categories occurred when processing user entries, then the error category with the highest priority determines which expert is forwarded the current workflow step to handle the errors first. If several error categories are prioritized equally, only one error category with this priority is included. Which of the error categories this will be, depends on the database system.
Enter the information for all error categories.
Note. If an error occurs and the error belongs to an error category for which no processors (or agents) were stored, then the program terminates as the work item cannot be forwarded.
If you want to provide the same agent(s) for several error categories, you do not need to enter the data for each error category individually; instead, you enter the information for the OTHERS error category.
