In this IMG activity, in the switches COPLA ADRES and COPLA CBURL, you create the root address (URL) for playing course content with the Course Content Player.

Example

You want to give course participants in your company access to self-paced courses (e-learning) on the Internet/intranet.

The Content Player of the SAP Learning Solution (LSOCP200) is already installed on your SAP J2EE Engine. The SAP J2EE Engine can be accessed under http://<mytrainingserver>:<myport>/ and the Content Player is installed by means of SDM.

Enter the address of the Content Player (COPLA ADRES) using the following URL format:

http://<mytrainingserver>:<myport>

The URL in the switch COPLA CBURLY is of a technical nature and in the standard system it is set to media. You should not change this setting because all content is played using this relative URL.

To enter the address in the system for playing course content with the Course Content Player:

  1. Overtype the SAP default address with the URL address you require.
  2. Choose Save.
  3. Choose Back to check your entries in overview mode.
