In this IMG activity, you can assign individual users to a user group. This enables you to set up user-specific output control for the notifications in Training Management.
Example
User SMITH can be assigned to the user group ALTERNAT. This contains two notification abbreviations: BUCH and STOR , for which different forms are stored from the form stored for the user group *.
The entries of group * are used for notification abbreviations not defined in this group.
User SMITH can be assigned to the user group LIMIT, which only contains two notification abbreviations: BUCH and STOR . The other abbreviations have been deactivated with the (lock) entry **. Notification abbreviations that are not defined for the group LIMIT cannot be used by the users assigned to this group.
Requirements
You must first define the user group with the relevant notification abbreviations in the IMG activity Specify user-specific output control.
The user must have a valid user master record.
Activities
If required, assign your users to user groups.
Further notes
The user group * is taken for any user not assigned to a specific user group.
