Use

Use this Business Add-In (BAdI) if you want to age the market data yourself. If you implement this BAdI, then the coding within the BAdI will run Instead of the standard system coding.

Requirements

Standard settings

This BAdI is not implemented in the standard system.

Activities

  1. Execute the IMG activity, and enter a name for the implementation in the dialog box.
  2. Select Create.

    The system displays a the BAdI Implementation screen.

  3. In the field Implementation Short Text, enter a name for the Implementation.
  4. Select the Interface tab.

    The field Implementation Class Name is filled automatically, as this is assigned by the system.

  5. Save your entries and assign the entries to a development class/package.
  6. Place your cursor on the method and drill down (double-click) to the method processing.
  7. Enter your coding for the implementation between the statements method <Interface-Name>~<Method Name>. and endmethod.
  8. Save and activate your coding and go back to the screen Change Implementation.
  9. Save your entries here also.

    Note: It is possible to initially create a BAdI implementation and to activate it at a later date. In this case, you can stop at this point.

  10. Select Activate.

When you execute the application program, the coding that you entered in the Method will now run.
