Use
In this IMG activity you determine the attributes and the attribute hierarchy for the product categories:
- Mortgage Loan (300)
- Policy Loan (320)
- General Loan (330)
The system then makes these available to you when you create a product. You can only use these products in loan origination. For more information about creating products, see the SAP Library, under Loans Management -> Environment -> XI Interfaces for New Business.
Note
If you are in a client where client-independent Customizing is not permitted, you can neither change, nor delete, nor copy attributes.
Standard settings
Attributes and an attribute hierarchy are present in the standard system.
Activities
- With your own attributes, you can do the following:
- Create them from fields in the structure VDARL
- Change
- Delete
- Assign to the same level or a lower level in the attribute hierarchy.
If you do not want to make existing attributes available in the standard system when you create a product, assign them to the Attributes Not Used node in the attribute hierarchy.
Note
Every object in the attribute hierarchy is an attribute, which means that all the structure nodes for the hierarchy must also be created as attributes.
- You can copy attribute hierarchies from a source client to the client you are in.
Note
You can only transport attribute hierarchies together with attributes to another system if you are in a client where client-dependent and client-independent Customizing is permitted.
