Use

In this Customizing activity, you manage UI configurations, which the system uses for the following purposes:

  • Definition of the Web user interface for the single processing of an entity (Web Dynpro application USMD_ENTITY_VALUE2)
  • Use in the Web user interface for creating and processing a change request.

You can create and edit different UI configurations for each data model.

Activities

This Customizing activity calls the Web Dynpro application Manage UI Configurations (USMD_UI_CONFIGURATION).

  • Choose Create to assign the UI configuration to a data model. The system does this assignment in the following automatic call of the component Floorplan Manager for Web Dynpro ABAP.
  • When you choose Edit, the system opens the Editor for Web Dynpro ABAP Application Configuration.
