In this activity, you transfer the beginning balance of the statistical key figures from the Overhead Controlling (CO-OM) Application Component.

You transfer statistical key figures of type 1 (fixed value). Thus, a statistical key figure is transferred as a total value (not as a delta value) and is thus valid for all open periods remaining in the fiscal year.

The beginning balance of the statistical key figure has to be transferred before statistical key figures can be updated in the Special Purpose Ledger. If statistical key figures are in the Special Purpose Ledger prior to the firt data transfer, invalid values will be updated in this component. You thus have the option of deleting existing key figures when transferring the statistical key figures.

Activities

  1. Enter your selection criteria:
    • The controlling area from which you want to transfer the statistical key figures
    • The fiscal year from which you want to transfer the key figures
    • The obejct type for which you want to transfer the statistical key figures (such as KS for cost center)
  2. Specify whether existing key figures in your Special Purpose Ledger are to be deleted:
    • You can specify that no key figures are to be deleted in the Special Purpose Ledger. To do so, choose No reset.
    • You can delete the statistical key figures for all existing fiscal years (If, for example, there are several fiscal year variants). To do so, choose Reset for all years.
    • You can delete the statistical key figures for the fiscal year entered in the selection criteria (if, for example, your only use one fiscal year variant). To do so, choose Reset entered year.
  3. Set the desired key figures for the process control. Enter, for example, whether the data transfer is to be run in test mode. Such a run does not update the data in the Special Purpose Ledger tables.
  4. Choose Execute.
