In this activity, you define a country-specific ledger for certain company codes. This ledger is kept parallel to your operating ledger.
This could be necessary, if you need financials with a fiscal year variant for specific legal requirements; for example, the fiscal year variant is different than the fiscal year variant of the operating ledger.

Requirements
You have to define your country-specific fiscal year variant. The settings are made in Financial Accounting Customizing under Financial Accounting Global Settings-> Fiscal Year -> Maintain Fiscal Year Variant (Maintain Shortened Fisc. Year).

Activities
- Enter the company codes for which you want to keep a country-specific ledger.
- Enter the country-specific currency type and/or the country-specific fiscal year variant of the company codes.
- Save your entries.
