Use

In this IMG activity you check the settings that must be made for tremcard shipping in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools and Product Safety.

Standard settings

Standard settings are delivered.

Activities

Settings in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools

Call the following IMG activities and check the entries specified:

  1. Set Up Property Trees

    Check the following entry:

    Property tree DG_TRM (EH&S Tremcard)

This property tree contains all the value assignment types that are delivered on the sample tremcard (see also Set Up Report Templates).

The value assignment types for the tremcard also exist in the EH&S Standard Property Tree.

  2. Specify Specification Types

    Check the following entry:

    Specification type TRM_INSTR (tremcard)

This specification type can be used for creating group tremcards. You can generate a tremcard for a specification of this specification type and in the report header, enter the specification for which the tremcard is to be valid.

    Note:

  3. You can use the IMG activity Develop Enhancement for Reference Specifications to check, for example, that the tremcard numbers for the specification that are entered in the report header match.
  4. Check Identification Types

The following identification types have been created for the identification category NUM (number):

    • TRM-ADNR (tremcard number ADNR)
    • TRM-ADR (tremcard number ADR/GGVS)
    • TRM-GGVE (tremcard number GGVE)
    • TRM-GGVE-S (tremcard number GGVE replacement)

The following identification type has been created for the identification category NAM (name):

    • TRM-GRP (tremcard group description)

      Note:

    • You specify the tremcard numbers of the required regulations for a specification. During filling, the tremcard numbers that are dependent on the dangerous goods regulation are transferred to the relevant dangerous goods master records. The identifier TRM-GGVE-S is required if:
      - Goods are transported by rail within one state
      - The substance to be transported is not known by the name
      - A tremcard is not supplied by the railway
The tremcard can also be used for road transport as a replacement. You can set this up by assigning the tremcard number for the GGVS or ADR dangerous goods regulation to the identifier TRM-GGVE-S.
In the dangerous goods master, the identifier TRM-GGVE-S is always transferred to the second field ReplTREM for the tremcard numbers during filling. The identifiers TRM-ADR, TRM-ADNR and TRM-GGVE are always transferred to the first field.
You should also distinguish between the following cases for rail transportation within one state:
      - If the substance is not known by the name but a tremcard is supplied by the railway, the tremcard number is defined using the identifier TRM_GGVE. The output of a tremcard is therefore not necessary in this case.
      - If the substance is known by the name, the railway's tremcard number must not be entered as the identifier.
  5. Check Identification Listing

    Check the following identification listings:

    • D_TRM_ADR
    • D_TRM_ADNR
    • D_TRM_GGVE

The identification listings D-TRM-ADR and D-TRM-ADNR are used for finding identifiers TRM-ADR and TRM-ADNR during filling.

      Note:

    • In the IMG activity Specify Dangerous Goods Regulations in Customizing for Dangerous Goods Management, enter the identification listing for a dangerous goods regulation in the ID listing field that the system uses to find the identifier in the Basic Data and Tools component that belongs to the corresponding regulation.

The identification listing D_TRM_GGVE is also relevant to filling. It specifies that for the dangerous goods regulation GGVE, the tremcard number with first priority is transferred that is specified for the identifier TRM-GGVE. If this identifier does not exist, the identifier TRM-GGVE-S is transferred.

  6. Specify Validity Areas

Check that the following validity areas exist for the validity area category REGION:

    • ADNR (ADNR states)
    • ADR (ADR states)

The tremcard is supported for ADR and ADNR states.

  7. Specify Ratings

    Check the following entry:

Rating DANGEROUSG (relevant to dangerous goods)

  8. Check and Specify Report Symbols

The following processing methods are supplied:

    • For symbol EHS_SUBCA (specification type TRM_INSTR, table ESTRH, field SUBCAT):
    • Expansion value C14N_SYMBOL_SUBCA_TRM
This processing method is used to prevent the dangerous goods description and the UN number specified for the UN-listed substance from being output if a group tremcard is generated instead of an individual tremcard. This processing method is necessary since the same report template is used for both individual and group tremcards. The UN numbers and group dangerous goods description (identifier of category NAM and type TRM_GRP) are specified as identifiers for a separate specification of the type Tremcard for group tremcards. For this reason the UN numbers and dangerous goods description (identifier of category NAM and type PSN) that were entered directly as identifiers for the UN-listed substances must be prevented from being output.
    • For symbol EHS_TCADNR (dangerous goods regulation ADNR):
    • Class SAP_EHS_1022_024
      Characteristic SAP_EHS_1022_024_LWDG
      Expansion value C14N_SYMBOL_DGREG_ADNR
This processing method is used to filter out all data for the ADNR regulation on the tremcard for ADNR data.
    • For symbol EHS_TCADR
    • Class SAP_EHS_1022_024
      Characteristic SAP_EHS_1022_024_LWDG
      Expansion value C14N_SYMBOL_DGREG_ADR
This processing method is used to filter out all data for the ADR regulation on the tremcard for ADR data.
