Use
In this IMG activity, you specify the context that component types and exception values can be used in. That is, at which point in the application they can be used. To do this, you specify the following for each specification category:
- You specify which component types and exception values you can use in the SAP components Environment, Health and Safety and Recipe Management in value assignment types with the category Composition. Here you can also restrict the usage to individual value assignment types.
- You specify which component types and exception values you can use in the SAP component Recipe Management for inputs and outputs in the formula view Input and Output.
Notes:
- The component types and exception values that you specify in this IMG activity for a context parameter are available in the application at the corresponding position in the Input Help.
- If you do not make an entry in this IMG activity for a context parameter for a specification category, or you do not specify a component type or exception value for the entry of a context parameter, no component types or exception values are available at the corresponding position in the application for specifications of this specification category. That means if, for example, you want to be able to assign certain component types to inputs for formulas in the application, you must create an entry in this IMG activity with the following data:
- Specification category: FORMULA
- Context parameter: FRM_SUB_IN_DIALOG
- Component type or exception value: <required component types or exception values>
- If you create an entry for the context parameter SUB_COMP_STD_DIALOG for a specification category in this IMG activity, and you do not specify a value assignment type for it, the assigned component types are available for all value assignment types from the Composition category. However, this applies only if you do not create any other entries with an assigned value assignment type for context parameter SUB_COMP_STD_DIALOG. If you create an entry for the context parameter SUB_COMP_STD_DIALOG, specify a value assignment type, and assign component types or exception values, the system assumes that you want to use component types or exception values for this value assignment type only. You should then create appropriate entries in this IMG activity for all value assignment types of the category Composition, in which you want to use component types in the application.
Requirements
- You have DS:SIMG.EHS_MD_130_30_1>specified component types</>.
- You have DS:SIMG.EHS_MD_120_60_1>specified exception values<
- You have DS:SIMG.EHS_MD_120_30_3>specified value assignment types</>
Standard settings
Default settings are shipped.
Note:
In addition to the context parameters supplied for value assignment types of the category Composition and for inputs and outputs, you cannot create any more context parameters.
Activities
- Select the specification category you require.
- Create the required entries for the different context parameters and, if necessary, assign them to the SUB_COMP_STD_DIALOG context parameter. Value assignment types are not relevant for the other context parameters.
- Select the context parameter to which you want to assign component types.
- Choose Component Types in the dialog structure.
- Enter the required component types and specify a component type as the default setting.
- Go back.
- Select the context parameter to which you want to assign exception values.
- Choose Exception Values in the dialog structure.
- Enter the exception values that you want to use and save the sort sequence. This determines the order in which the exception values appear in the input help. In the SAP Recipe Management component, the system uses the sort sequence to determine diet suitability. For more information about determining diet suitability see the Recipe Management Implementation Guide (IMG), under Set Up EH&S Customizing.
- Save.
