You can use exchange profiles to restrict data to be exported or imported.

You can, for example, specify that the phrase item status is transferred during import or export (see Phrase item status indicator).

Standard settings

Default settings are delivered.

The standard profile DX_SDB_IMP is required for report import.

Activities

  1. Call the IMG activity and check the default entries.
  2. Choose Edit -> New Entries and define the key and description of your exchange profile.
  3. Enter other data as required and save your entries.

    Note:

    4. To import reports, you must enter the path for the transfer directory on your application server (/USR/EHS_DATA/INBOUND/, for example).

To import other data (sources, specifications, phrases, property tree, report templates), you need not enter a path. The SAP system uses a logical path to access the physical paths you assigned in the IMG activity.

  1. Save your entries.
