In this activity, you make the general settings for Warranty Processing. These settings apply to all warranty claim types.

You define specific periods of time for warranty processing using parts to be returned and with claim splits.

You define condition types as main condition types, which make it quicker to enter contributions on item level when you are creating warranty claim versions.

Standard settings

The following settings are provided in the standard system:

  • Check times on the basis of the SAP standard factory calendar
  • Condition types PRIC, PRIV, PROC, and PROV as contribution condition types
  • Condition type K007 as condition type for additions and deductions as precentages
