Use

SAP CRM Designer ist a WYSIWYG tool for configuring SAP CRM applications. It is a locally installed Windows program that reads data directly from the CRM application server and stores it there.

The following settings are required by the CRM application server for this communication:

  1. URL of Designer Start Service
  2. URL of Blueprint Service

Requirements

The CRM Designer has to be installed locally on your PC to test these settings.

Standard settings

Activities

Call up transaction SE80 and choose 'BSP Application'.

  1. Designer Start Service: Choose the BSP application CRM_BSP_BAB_DSS and load the page dsstart.cld. On the 'Characteristics' tab page you can find the URL of the BSP application that should be configured in the 'Designer Start Service' field.
  2. Blueprint Service: Choose the BSP application CRM_BSP_BAB_DIS and load the page bpserv.htm. On the 'Characteristics' tab page you can find the URL of the BSP application that should be configured in the 'Blueprint Service' field.
