In this activity, you define the account assignment groups which can be used in product maintenance on the Sales tab page under Sales: Groupings.
The account assignment groups can be transferred from the ERP System with an initial Customizing download. The relevant Customizing object is DNL_CUST_ACGRPP.
If the product concerned is billed using CRM Billing and the billing document transferred to an ERP System, the appropriate accounts need to be determined for revenue and sales deductions. The account assignment group is one of several factors used for account determination.
