Use

In this activity, you assign statuses to callup points. You can block Campus Management activities by setting statuses which are active on a given key date. For example, you can block activities like module booking for specific callup points (e.g. 0001 - module booking (general)).

If you want the system to check a specific status for a callup point, you must assign this status to the callup point. You may only use callup points which have been designated as relevant for status indicators.

If you do not assign a status to a given callup point, the activity the system performs at this callup point cannot be blocked by a status.

In this activity, you can also define a message for a specific callup point and status combination; this setting is optional. The system outputs this message if an active status blocks an activity at a specific callup point.

You can also deactivate the status check for callup points by setting the indicator deactivated.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose a callup point and assign it the relevant status.
  2. If required, assign a message to this callup point and status combination.
    1. Then assign a message type.
    2. Enter a message class. In the field Message, specify the number of the message within the given message class.
    3. If required, you can enter up to four message variables.
In the message variable, enter a user-defined text (see example below).

Example

You assign a specific message to a particular callup point and status combination. You enter message 002 which you have created in message class ZCUSTOMER. This message contains the following short text:

Cannot perform &1 because of &2

To map this in the system, you enter the following data in this activity:

  • Message type: E
  • Message class: ZCUSTOMER
  • Message: 002
  • Message variable 1: course registration
  • Message variable 2: missing re-registration
