In this IMG activity, you specify for which de-registration reasons the system should create a relationship between the de-registered student and an organizational unit designating this student as an alumnus of the respective organizational unit.

You must define whether or not the system should create an alumnus relationship for each given de-registration reason.

Example

You want to designate students who have successfully completed their studies as an alumnus of the respective organizational unit. You do not want the system to create this relationship for students who withdraw from the university or transfer to another university. To create an alumnus relationship between a student and an organizational unit, you set the Alumnus indicator for the activity withdrawal and the reason Studies completed.

Requirements

You have set up the required reasons and assigned these to either the withdrawal or dismissal activity. You make these settings in Customizing for Campus Management under Campus Management Processes -> Admission, Registration, and De-registration -> Basic Settings in the IMG activities:
