In this IMG activity you select the planning areas for which you would like to transport planning layouts into the target system.

Planning layouts are objects that are not specific to a controlling area. Therefore, the R/3 System selects all settings for this object in all controlling area and creates a correction request.

You may use the Change and Transport System to transfer data to the target system.

You may transport planning layouts for the following planning areas:

  • PS Payment Planning
  • TR Financial Budgeting

Recommendation

If you do not transport your planning profile, you have to create a new planning profile in the target system.

Activities

  1. Identify and select the planning areas to which you would like to transport planning layouts.
  2. Choose Execute and enter a correction order.
  3. In the list, select the planning layouts you would like to transport.
  4. Place the planning layouts in a correction order.
    1. Choose Execute to transport the layouts online.
    2. To transport the planning layouts in the background, select Execute in background.
