Use
General settings for the use of master data
At present, these settings are limited to the implementation of attribute storage for each article and location.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard setting is as follows:
- The attributes for article and plant are stored in InfoObject 0MAT_PLANT.
- The system regards missing information for a combination of article and plant as not critical.
Activities
As an alternative to the InfoObject 0MAT_PLANT, you can use the DataStore object ORT_DS01 to store the attributes for each article and plant.
If you choose this setting, you must activate the relevant Business Content objects. These include the DataStore object 0RT_DS01 itself and the business content objects (InfoSources, update rules, and so on) that are necessary for supplying the DataStore objects.
You can also configure the setting so that the system classifies missing data for a combination of article and plant as being critical.
