In this step you define the required posting keys for the residual items carried over. If the posting keys are not defined, the posting interface for loans will not run.

Requirements

For loans accounting you need to change the field status of several standard FI posting keys.

To do this, set the Field status group 'Financial assets management' to optional. The system then displays the following additional fields when you create a document with the above posting keys:

  • Contract number
  • Contract type
  • Flow type

You must change the following debit-side posting keys:

    01, 11, 05, 15, 07, 17

Note

These posting keys are used for account determination in the loans area.

Examples

Enter the following posting keys for posting activities in the loans area (Group ZAU):

ZA1 (Residual items c/o: pmnt act.)             05            15

Activities

  1. Check the standard settings.
  2. Change or enhance the settings where necessary. In particular, changes may be required for customer and vendor posting keys where you need a field status.
