Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Handling Large Projects (PS-HLP) component. You can use this BAdI to change user interface (UI) elements such as color, layout, fonts, lines, and nodes in the Gantt chart.

In addition to changing UI elements, you can use this BAdI to specify:

  • The number rows to be displayed in every page of the Gantt chart.
  • The number of rows to be initially displayed when you choose Show All Records.
  • The number of rows to be displayed at every click of an arrow of the vertical scroll bar. When you scroll this way in the standard, you can only scroll by one row at a time. With this BAdI, you can increase the number of new rows that are displayed, at every instance of scrolling. For example, instead of scrolling by one row at a time, you can specify five new rows to be displayed at every instance of scrolling. For the purpose of performance, we recommend that you do not specify a very high value.
