Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Commodity Pricing Engine (CA-GTF-CPE) component. You can use this BAdI to define a customer-specific logic (quantity split routine) according to which the system is to distribute the total quantity of a commodity to be priced in one formula among several terms. The system takes the data in the commodity pricing formula into account when it distributes the commodity quantity in the document item. You can use the quantity split routine to define how you want the system to split up the commodity quantity among the terms. For example, you can determine that all terms should receive the entire commodity quantity or that the commodity quantity should be distributed among the terms either by splitting it into equal parts or splitting it based on specific factors.

This BAdI is called during the CPE formula evaluation process.

Requirements

You have defined the required routines and corresponding descriptions for the commodity pricing engine (CPE) in the Customizing activity Define CPE Routine for the submodule 02, Quantity Split Routine.

You have assigned the valid quantity split routine to the corresponding formulas in Customizing for Commodity Pricing, for example under MM-Specific CPE Objects or SD-Specific CPE Objects --> Define CPE formula.
