Use

In this IMG activity you can set up purchase order document types for the cross-system transit. You can use the cross-system transit to transfer stock from one plant to stock in another plant, when the plants are assigned to different SAP systems.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard system the following purchasing order types are delivered:

  • NBXE
    • Description: XLO ext. order
    • Cross-system transit: cross company code order
  • NBXI
    • Description: XLO int. order
    • Cross-system transit: intra company code order

Activities

  1. Maintain all necessary settings in IMG activity Define Document Types.
  2. Additionally, select the intra company code or cross company code transit process in the Cross System Transit column.
  3. Make sure that there is no entry for Control.
  4. Enter Normal for the item type.
