Use
In this Customizing activity you configure the Archiving Engine for all archiving and deletion scenarios. You make entries for data selection in parallel processing to determine the residence time and resubmission period, as well as the phases to be run within the scenarios.
Here, you also set which other functions the system provides for the scenario in the Archiving Engine.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
- Select a scenario and choose Detail View to make entries for this scenario. If it is a deletion scenario, activate the Permit Deletion indicator.
- Enter the following details on the following tab pages:
- Parallel Processing
Enter the maximum number of business objects and the package size for data selection in parallel processing.
- Residence Time
Enter the number of days, weeks, months, or years for the residence time of the underlying business object, in general and as a minimum. If you want to change the algorithm on which the residence time calculation is based, you can do so in the Customizing activity Define Residence Time Determination.
- Resubmission
Enter the time period after which the system presents a scenario again for archiving, if it cannot currently be archived or deleted.
- Phases
Enter the phases to be run by the system for an archiving or deletion scenario.
- Functions
Enter the processing options to be provided by the system for the archiving or deletion scenario.
