Use
In this step you define which hierarchy of basis product categories the contract objects in CRM should be assigned to when created in the download.
You also define which logical system should be saved with this in the product tables and whether GUIDs should be generated for the contract objects in the download.

Standard settings
Activities
Enter the value HIERARCHY_ID in the field Parameter name, and in the field Parameter value enter the basis category hierarchy that you have assigned in the CRM application 03 (product) or to the product category 01 (material) (see the implementation guide of Cross-Application Components, under SAP Product -> Product Category -> Assign Category Hierarchies to Applications).
Enter the value LOGSYS in the field Parameter name, and in the field Parameter value enter the name of the logical system of the CRM client in which you distribute contract objects.
If the contract objects in your system do still not have a GUID, enter the value PSOB_GUID_ADD in the field Parameter name, and in the field Parameter value the value X. This is the case when the contract objects were created in a release before ERP 2005. If you set these parameters, all contract objects without a GUID are assigned one with the initial download.
