In this step you define an authorization profile, or check whether the profile available meets your requirements.

A profile contains authorization objects for a selected area.

A composite profile contains several profiles.

Using profiles and composite profiles, you can easily structure and manage authorizations.

By entering profiles or collective profiles in the user master data, a user has all authorizations entered.

Prerequisities

  • You must yourself be authorized to create or maintain profiles.
  • You must have created authorizations which match your needs if the authorizations delivered with the system did not suffice.

Standard Settings

In the SAP standard release, profiles are preset for severyl typical work or task areas.

The specific functions of SAP Banking Risk Analysis are created using the following profiles:

  • J_RM_EXPERTE

    All authorizations for SAP Banking Risk Analysis

  • J_RM_ORDUSER

    Authorizations in SAP Risk Analysis for display transactions only

In addition, you can also use the following profiles for transactions used in Risk Management:

  • J_B_ISBALL

    All authorizations for Bank Profitability Analysis

  • J_B_EGK_DISP

    All display authorizations for Bank Profitability Analysis

  • P_TRTM_ALL

    All authorizations for loans, securities, derivatives, money market transactions, and foreign exchange.

Activities

  1. Check whether the profiles delivered with the system meet your needs.
  2. Check whether the profiles are complete, that is, check whether all users can complete the activities they need to perform.
  3. If needed, create new profiles suitable to your needs.

Note on transports:

You transport profiles as follows:

  1. Display the profiles list.
  2. Choose "Profile - Transport".
  3. Select the profiles you wish to transport.
  4. Confirm your selections and enter the correction number.
