In this IMG activity you valuate the waste billing categories. You also allocate values to the fields.
You use the rate facts groups to control where the respective prices, factors, discounts and so on are found for the operands for this valuation. The facts groups used here must be allocated to one of your rates.
You can also perform different regional structure-specific valuations if you want to apply different charges to different cities for example.
Finally you allocate your (container-dependent) waste billing categories to the service type that must be billed.

The waste billing category container charge is valuated as follows:
Container cat. Service interval RegStruct. Rate facts group

Because the waste billing category extends the existing billing area in SAP Utilities (IS-U), in order to bill waste disposal services, the rate category and rate facts groups are allocated to the waste billing category in Customizing for Waste Management, but not for Billing.
