Use

In this IMG activity, you define the derivation of check rules and/or check sequences from parameters of the basis structure for determining check sequences.

You can assign a check rule and/or check sequence to a combination of parameters.

Activities

  1. Specify a strategy for determining check rules/check sequences.
    A strategy consists of one or more steps that are processed in chronological order until a result is returned, that is, a check rule and/or a check sequence.
    Note: A step is a selection of fields from a maximum number of possible fields.
  2. Process the possible entries for the fields for each step.

Further notes

During the classification process, the system first evaluates the check rule (if there is one). Then the system goes through the steps of the check sequence until a check rule returns the classification as a result. If the system has not determined a classification after the last check rule was called, it writes an entry in the error log.
