Use
When processing a contract in Lease Accounting, it is sometimes necessary to calculate the present value. It is only possible to determine the present value if an interest rate and base value were entered.
In this IMG activity, you first create the value ID for the present value. Then you assign a reference value ID to each of the value IDs. This reference value ID represents the base value or the interest rate for calculating the present value.

Further notes
During the calculation of the present value, the system assumes that the base value is the amount due at the end of the lease. Therefore you do not have to enter a due date for the base value. Instead of using this simple calculation of the present value, you can also have the system calculate the present value from a payment schedule. You make these settings in the IMG activity Present Value of Incoming/Outgoing Payments per Payment Flow.
