Use
A lease can be changed or enhanced while it is running. Each change process is represented in Lease Accounting by independent asset master records, accrual postings and one-time postings. The change processes normally require data not only from the modified lease, but also from the original lease.
Changes to a lease in Lease Accounting are made with a reference to the original lease. When the original lease was executed, various value IDs were determined and stored from the original contract in Lease Accounting, as specified in Customizing. During a change process, you can access these stored value IDs from the original contract (reference object).
In this IMG activity, you specify the value IDs that the system should access during this process.
