Tab layout inconsistent with screen layout

Diagnosis

Group box is not contained in tab layout of application . But at the same time, a field in group box is defined as a required field in the screen layout (field status).

System Response

It is not possible to maintain the required field. Therefore, master data maintenance is not allowed.

Procedure

In the screen layout for the master data object, make sure that none of the fields in SAP group box is defined as a required field in application . Or else add SAP group box to tab layout of application .
