Diagnosis

An employee is only eligible for Statutory Adoption Pay or Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) in cases where the Matching Certificate is issued on or after 6th April 2003. You have entered an issue date for the Matching Certificate before this qualifying date.

Note: The Matching Certificate is the certificate given by the adoption agency to the person or persons adopting the child, when the adopting parents are notified that they have been matched with a child.

Review the eligibility of the employee for paid absence entitlement, and if required, enter an issue date for the Matching Certificate after this qualifying date.
