Diagnosis
Company directors have an annualised NI calculation. This means that checking the NI earnings between the Lower Earnings Limit (LEL) and the Upper Earnings Limit (UEL) for COMPS minimum payments on a payroll period basis is not possible.
System Response
A payroll exception to notify you of the situation is issued.
Procedure
Check manually if sufficient funds have been paid into the COMPS scheme for the director.
